Contract
With a SimaPro service contract your SimaPro is always up to date. You
receive regular software and database updates. Your questions are quickly
answered by the SimaPro helpdesk. A service contract is always included in temporary licenses. Indefinite
licenses come with a free first year service contract.
Software and database updates
Software updates
Make sure you work with the latest version and the newest features. Not
only patches, also upgrades to newer versions of SimaPro (such as SimaPro
7.3 or 8) are included in the service contract at no extra costs.
Database updates
Save time with our database updates! You will regularly -at least
twice a year- receive new inventory data and impact assessment methods,
so you don't have to collect and enter all data yourself. Remember that
collecting data is the most expensive in any LCA study!
Certain databases upgrades (i.e. new versions) may be excluded from the
service contract, for example the ecoinvent
database.

SimaPro Helpdesk
The SimaPro helpdesk will answer your questions about SimaPro as quickly
as possible. The helpdesk can be contacted by phone, fax, or
e-mail. You can also contact
your local partner.
SimaPro comes with extensive on-line help and a range of
manuals, that help you finding the first
answers to your questions. In addition, a FAQ
is available to answer the most asked questions on SimaPro.

- 5% discount on 2 year service contract renewals.
- 10% discount on 3 year service contract renewals.

Service contract renewal
On the expiration date, a service contract is automatically renewed for
another year. After receipt of your payment a new registration code will
be sent to you. To renew, please use our
Service Contract renewal order form.
You can cancel the renewal in
writing
up to one month before the expiration date. Once you have cancelled, you
can no longer renew your service contract to obtain the latest version.
Instead, you need to buy a new license at 75% of the list price.
A service contract is always included in temporary licenses. It ends
when your license expires and is not automatically renewed.
